Inverness - 2nd September 2012

Edinburgh, Ingliston Showground - 2nd September 2012

Huge congratulations to the ladies who took part in the final Ladies Driving Challenge event. Thanks to you, we raised £15,000 (and still counting) at the Inverness event and £14,000 (and still counting) at the Ingliston event.

A massive thanks to all who took part and their supporters and especially to all the amazingly generous vehicle suppliers and event helpers who made it a day to remember.

Participants will be able to try their hand at manoeuvring a monster articulated truck, sit behind the wheel of a double-decker bus, whiz around in a fire engine and police vehicle. Add to these the fun of digging a hole with a JCB and manoeuvring other intriguing vehicles and you have the recipe for a great day out, whilst raising funds for a great cause.

“The Ladies’ Driving Challenges have raised over £120,000 to date with all money directly assisting people in Scotland.  Since we plan and organise the event ourselves we can guarantee that 100% of the profits raised for CHSS goes to our vital programmes and services. To help you with your fundraising, our team of fundraisers will be there to support you every step of the way.
