Share your special day with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland
Whatever your special occasion, whether it is reaching a landmark birthday or wedding anniversary, you can celebrate it with Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. All you need to do is ask your friends and family to give donations to CHSS instead of (or in addition to) gifts.
How about:
• adding a raffle to your celebrations to encourage donations
• putting a collection box on display (a great place is near the bar!)
• setting up a personalised justgiving page with the details of your celebration and ask guests to donate directly to us through this in your name
We can support you by providing materials such as balloons, collection tins and gift aid forms for the day itself and can also provide suggested wordings for invitations, place cards or thank you cards. For more information please get in touch.
Weddings and Wedding Favours
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland wedding favours are a unique way of thanking your guests for celebrating your wedding – they’re the perfect finishing touch to your big day and a more meaningful gift than traditional favours.
We have pin badges and trolley tokens available for use as favours and can also include a small backing card to let each guest know that a donation has been made to support those affected by chest heart and stroke illness on their behalf. Alternatively we can also provide you with the charity logo if you wish to create your own personalised backing cards.
We will provide a thank you letter for your donation which you can then display at your wedding for guests to see or keep along with your photos to remember the day by.
All we ask is that you make a suggested donation of £1 per pin badge or £2 per trolley token and allow 28 days for delivery of your order. To request a sample of either favour please contact your regional fundraising advisor.
Wedding List Giving
If you are getting married and would like your guests to make a donation to the charity in lieu of presents then why not set up a charity wedding list? This can be done on justgiving.com/chss or other specialist wedding giving websites such as www.thescottishweddinglist.co.uk
